Above arrangements cover hand-over of

(A) equipment, stores and supplies procured

for C.. purposes:

(B) fixed assets constructed before date of handover

items issued from my stocks for civil population

and for use by the Military Administration

Inmediato repayment will, however, be required in accordance with normal procedure in case of issues from my stocks to civil authorities after date of transfer to civil government, Separate instructions will be issued regarding fixed assets constructed after that date which civil government

desires to acquire.

FIVE

Care should be taken to ensure that records kept during military

period do not overlap with records required by TWO. above but together

provide complete record of stores fixed assets etc. supplied to civil

government.

SIX

Instructions in this cable deal solely with financial aspect of transfers and do not (repeat not) constitute authority for hand-over of Army

sotres or fixed assets. Where prior War Office approval is required this

should be obtained in ordinary way.

SEVEN

Separate instructions will be issued with regard to (A) Lend/Lease stores and assets and (B) civil supplies and stores in military programme which have not reached territories concerned at date of hand-over. (c)
